Seductive aromas of fleshy ripe blackberries, mocha and toasty oak. This Californian Cabernet is produced by the family who has been farming in Napa Valley for five generations. The winemaker is Chuck Wagner. This fleshy, full-bodied and delicious Californian red wine is a cult classic. Pair with pepper steak.

Cabernet Sauvignon food pairings: grilled New York strip loin, pork tenderloin, hamburger, hard cheese, grilled lamb chops.

Reviews and Ratings

Jennifer Havers - WSET Level 3 rated this wine as 92/100 with the following review:

Smooth and luxurious. Aromas of rich blackberries, currants, smoke, and spice along with just a hint of caramel. Full bodied and smooth, with soft tannins, and medium tannins on the palate. Lots of ripe, rich berry notes, and a hint of spice and some smoky hints on the finish. Enjoy with prime rib.
