Haselgrove Protector Cabernet Sauvignon 2019, Mclaren Vale, South Australia, Australia: Haselgrove Protector 2019 Cabernet Sauvignon is a dry, medium-plus-bodied and concentrated Cab with juicy cassis, spiced cherry, cedar brush and savoury herb flavours vibrant and lengthy on the palate. Very elegant, drink or hold to 2032. The Celts believed the Hazel shrubby tree had protective powers to guard against evil spirits, much in the same way the high tannins from the Cabernet Sauvignon grape will protect the wine during the ageing process.
