Reviews and Ratings

Jennifer Havers - WSET Level 3 rated this wine as 92/100 with the following review:

Beautiful and will improve over time, I'm sure. Aromas of blackberry, black currant, eucalyptus and oaky spice, with a hint of minerality. Full bodied with some firm, structured tannins and vibrant, mouthwatering acidity. Lots of ripe dark berry on the palate, and again, just a hint of minerality on the finish. Decant 1 hour before serving with a prime rib roast.
Craig Haynes - WSET3 FWS SWS IWS rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

This full-bodied Cabernet Sauvignon can be enjoyed today or cellared to allow its aromas and flavours to mature and transform. If you have two bottles, drink one now and cellar the other.

From my glass emerged rich, enticing scents like dark fruit, sweet cedar, eucalyptus, mint and a subtle earthiness. Next up, firm silky tannins revealed deliciously ripe dark berry and sweet spice flavours. An impressive experience. The wine maker’s decision to mature this creation for fifteen months in 100% new French oak cast a positive imprint on this hand harvested cabernet sauvignon. Enjoy.
