Reviews and Ratings

Matt Steeves - Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

Sourced from the finest AVAs for Chardonnay throughout the Napa Valley, this expressive and richly textured Chardonnay shows the best of Napa Valley Chardonnay, at a great price. Grilled pineapple, pear, wildflower honey, toast, and fresh baked bread on the nose and palate. Full bodied, with a remarkable freshness, vivacity, and creaminess, that makes it a super star to enjoy with practically any dish you can imagine. Enjoy seafood, grilled poultry, and one of my favourites, Pear and Gorgonzola Cheese Pizza - a fantastic complementary pairing! Tasted February 2019. 91 points. Matt Steeves - www.quercusvino.ca.
Andrea Shapiro rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

This Chardonnay from Mondavi hits all the right notes if you’re in the mood for California Chardonnay. Pale gold with a splash of a green rim. Aromas of smoke, baked pears, butter tarts, raisins, and vanilla. Flavours reveal peach cobbler, cantaloupe melon, with a hint of pineapple at the back. Toasty and oaky. Full bodied, retaining smoke with a mineral driven, lengthly finish accompanied by a firm handshake of acidity. Pair with smoked salmon canapes. 90 points - tasted July 2019
Jennifer Havers - WSET Level 3 rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

Lovely! So flavourful. Aromas of pear, golden apple, honey, with hints of caramel and a floral note. Nicely balanced fruit with warm honey and vanilla notes on the palate. Enjoy with roast chicken, fish, or any seafood.
