Douglas McMillan rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

Aromas of plum, inky blackberry, and new leather. Plum, cinnamon, and raspberry in the taste with smooth, round tannins and medium acidity. For me, this is a perfect meat pizza wine.
Sylvain Segard rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

Luminous deep ruby. Intense aroma of ripe plums, wild flowers, and baking spices. Full bodied. Rich mouthfeel. Dry. Balanced full tannins. Long finish of berries and plums. Enjoy with stews such as a Boeuf Bourguignon. Score 89. (S.Segard, Reviewed Jan. 15, 2017)
Jon Steeves - Sommelier rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

Ripe plum, chalky minerality, baking spice, blackberry. Richly full bodied, smooth tannins, well balanced acidity and fruit. Great value. Pair with gourmet BBQ burgers or on it's own. @jonsteeves rated 88/100 -tasted Oct 2016
