From Jean-Claude Boisset, Les Ursulines 2019 Pinot Noir is a vibrant Burgundian PN with rose petal, tart cherry, red currant aromas. Look for tart cherries, earthy florals and spicy, smoky flavours on the palate. Grapes are sourced from the clay-limestone soils from the estate's Les Ursulines vineyard, which is located on what was once a convent up until the French Revolution. The Ursuline order of nuns were evicted from their convent.

Pinot Noir food pairings: chicken, planked salmon, braised lamb, roast beef, rosemary pork tenderloin.

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a feisty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
