Natalie's Score: 88/100

A robust BC red wine blend of Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon, Malbec and Petit Verdot grapes. Aromas of toasty oak, mocha, coffee, dark chocolate and dark fruit on the nose and palate. Vibrant acidity makes this a good match for tangy meat and tomato sauces.

Meritage food pairings: red meat, lamb, pâté, or portobello mushrooms.

Reviews and Ratings

Jon Steeves - Sommelier rated this wine as 92/100 with the following review:

Gorgeous Okanagan meritage blend with a robust ripe dark plum, blackberry, eucalyptus, chocolate, hint of forest floor and savoury. Beautiful silky mouthfeel, medium plus mouthwatering acidity, medium tannins. Well balanced and integrating. Pairs with meat lovers pizza, gourmet burgers, bbq steak and is easily enjoyable with cheese and gourmet charcuterie platter. Tasted 2014 vintage in January 2019 after a 2h decant. 92 points #goodvalue
Jennifer Havers - WSET Level 3 rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

This is a Canadian take on the clasic Bordeaux blend of Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon, Malbec and Petit Verdot. Aromas of blueberry, blackberry, mocha and a hint of vanilla. Full bodied, smooth on the palate, with tannins that soften nicely after a bit of decanting and medium+ acidity. Fruit is ripe, heading towards jammy on the palate, and the finish is smoky with a hint of spice. Enjoy with grilled meat or robust mushroom dishes.
A balanced Bordeaux style blend of Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon, Malbec and Petit Verdot. Rich, earthy notes of leather, liquorice and sour cherry blend with sable oak influences of vanilla and warm spices on the palate. This blend ages beautifully.
