The grapes for this wine are farmed organically though the winery is not yet certified organic. Lovely lusciousness on the palate. It's aged for 18 months in French oak barrels, 10% of which is new. Lots of stone fruit on the finish. A rich, full-bodied Niagara Chardonnay with great balance and freshness. Pair with roasted chicken.

Reviews and Ratings

Jon Steeves - Sommelier rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

Pale gold. Dry. Mouthwatering acidity. Balanced. Ripe Bartlett pear, russet apple, savoury, hint of vanilla bean. Pairs well with roast poultry. Tasted 2015 vintage in April 2018. 91 points
Jennifer Havers - WSET Level 3 rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

This wine is everything I am looking for in Chardonnay, and it makes me so happy to know it is from here in Ontario. Beautiful balance of fruit, lusciousness from subtle oak integration and bright acidity. Citrus (fresh lemon) and tropical (white peach) notes mingle with a slightly creamy note. Acidity really helps bring some punch to this wine and extend the finish. Definitely the perfect wine for a roast chicken or grilled halibut, but I might just want to enjoy this on its own.
