Jennifer Havers - WSET Level 3 rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

A beautiful Chardonnay from a cooler region of California. Aromas of golden apple, starfruit, honey, vanilla and a touch of caramel. Full bodied on the palate, smooth and creamy in texture, with medium acidity, lots of ripe apple and a creamy vanilla finish. Enjoy with lobster or other rich seafood dishes.
The Chardonnay wine grapes for Cloudfall 2016 were sourced from the Scheid Vineyard of Monterey County -- an area that sees morning fogs that often do no dissipate until early afternoon. The fogs cool the grapes, allowing them to develop slowly, evenly with full flavours and freshness. There is a splash of Viognier in this wine giving it lift and perfume. Enjoy with roast chicken or turkey. - Community Wine Reviews
