Sweetly ripe black and purple plum notes with some fleshy blackberries mixing in. Full-bodied and smooth. This finishes dry and satisfying. What an amazing wine this would be with meat lovers' pizza or prime rib.

Crimson-purple; a delicious shiraz, with an expressive dark berry and plum bouquet, the fruit expanding on the palate while simultaneously meshed with fine, textured tannins and quality oak. Overall freshness is remarkable for the vintage. Drink until 2023. Score: 95 Source: James Halliday, winecompanion.com.au, Aug. 11, 2011

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a feisty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
