A spectacular BC Pinot Noir with layers of pleasure, passion and complexity. Reminds me of the best Burgundian Pinots through the mid-palate -- a field of wild violets and truffles. Full-bodied and velvet smooth. Oh my. Pair with risotto, veal and duck comfit.

Reviews and Ratings

Jon Steeves - Sommelier rated this wine as 93/100 with the following review:

Complex, layered, dry, balanced and well integrated. Plum, aged leather, blackberry, floral. Pair with rack of lamb. Tasted 2014 vintage in June 2018. Gorgeous! 93 points
Deborah Podurgiel WSET IV Candidate - Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

Lots of soft, ripe cherries and savoury spice on the nose. On the palate, this Vancouver Island, Cowichan Valley, estate grown Pinot Noir is dry, medium-bodied, beautifully balanced with fresh red cherries, pepper, and cedar spice and vibrant acidity for food. Pair with a wild mushroom and sweet onion risotto.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
