Windwalker Vineyard came available at the right time for us. Some things in the Universe just fall into place. We had worked for the previous owner for quite some time and when our chance came along to purchase the winery, there was no second thoughts. We knew we had to take over the winery full time.

Our hope is to continue making some of the best wines in El Dorado County. We still like help in the making of our wines, but we leave it up to our wine maker to craft some of the best wines in el dorado county. He has produced wines that our guests and family have come to enjoy and love. Our wine maker is a world class, top notch, excellent wine maker as you will find out as soon as you taste our wines.

We are producing a variety of wines to cover all the various styles and desires of our guest. We are sure to have a variety and style to suit your taste. As we continue to manage and care for the Windwalker Vineyard and Winery, we hope to explore other wines and produce some different flavors so we can keep our customers coming back for more.

We have a wonderful picnic area at the winery. If you are touring the area and have brought your picnic with you, plan to stop at our winery where the surroundings will delight and comfort you while casually enjoying a glass of Windwalker wine with your meal.

Red, White & Drunk all over by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean writes about wine with a sensuous obsession... and often laugh-out-loud funny... Terrific.

Rex Pickett, Sideways

Ms. MacLean is the disarming Everywoman. She loves wine, loves drinking ... ultimately, it's a winning formula.

Unquenchable by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a feisty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
