Vinoklet Winery or "Little Wine House" in Croatian, impressively combines both Ohio River Valley and Croatian wine making traditions.

Vinoklet's unique history begins with Krešo Mikulic who originally immigrated to the United States from his homeland in Croatia, near the Adriatic Coast in the Mediterranean Region, highly praised for its wine. Since wine was an essential part of daily life, Krešo was raised in a family with strong values for appreciating and enjoying fine wines.

In search of new opportunities in America, it wasn't until 1984 that Krešo was able to return to his family tradition. He purchased a run-down dairy ranch in Colerain Township and had a vision to revive his love for winemaking. Because of its excellent soil conditions and micro-climate, the vineyard produced first samples of wine with great success. More vines were planted and the new vineyard began to take shape. Over the years, Vinoklet Winery has experienced many expansions in vineyard acreage and wine making capacity.
