Our philosophy with regard to wine making is that less is more. We prefer minimal handling in the cellar
using gravity whenever possible. We crush into small fermenters, maximizing extraction while managing
tannin.

We love wine and want everyone else to love it too. We encourage people to taste everything, have fun with
food pairings & break a few rules. Remember, wine was once the beverage of the people. It was found on most
tables from the royal courts to the more humble kitchens. There are many ways to enjoy wine. Thank you for
choosing us to be a part of your table. We look forward to sharing our wine with you!

Our small foothill winery produces no more than 2500 cases annually, allowing exceptional attention to be
paid in both the vineyard and the cellar. All of our fruit is fermented in small fermenters and worked by hand.
A minimal amount of handling ensures the preservation of the fruit character of the varietal being made.

Our focus is petite sirah from various vineyards in California, but we also produce merlot, syrah and a unique
varietal from the Pyrenees, tannat. We offer our wines at our tasting room, through our wine club, and via
our online store.

Unquenchable by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a feisty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
