Thousand Oaks Winery & Vineyard is a family owned business nestled on our family’s 60 acre farm in the scenic hills of Bollinger Country, Missouri. Don’t be surprised if we look at running our business and producing wine in unconventional ways.

Since you may not know us personally, let me take this opportunity to introduce you to the basic tenets of Thousand Oaks Winery:

“Golden Rule” Practiced Here: We’re not referring to “He who has the gold makes the rules”, but rather Mathew 7:12. We’re committed to provide you the best possible experience when you visit us.

Excellence Over Economics: We won’t sacrifice quality for quantity or excellence for economics. Our two generations of winemakers at Thousand Oaks Winery won’t compromise in their pursuit of the finest possible wine for you, your family, and friends.

It’s Not Just About Wine: At Thousand Oaks Winery, we understand you could have chosen any of Missouri’s fine wineries, but you decided to visit us. We’ve crafted a relaxing environment conducive to special events, private parties, weddings, and gatherings of your family and friends. We might be a little off the beaten path, but we believe you will find us well worth the drive. Our entertainment, grounds, menu, and staff all lend themselves to providing you a memorable experience that will make you want to visit us again.

Red, White & Drunk all over by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean writes about wine with a sensuous obsession... and often laugh-out-loud funny... Terrific.

Rex Pickett, Sideways

Ms. MacLean is the disarming Everywoman. She loves wine, loves drinking ... ultimately, it's a winning formula.

Unquenchable: A Tipsy Search

  Best Books of the Year

Unquenchable by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a feisty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
