It all started with a glass of Pinot Noir. And from there things got a little crazy.

Seduced by the heartbreak grape, we went a bit overboard and set out on a quest that ultimately ended on a beautiful hillside in Dundee, Oregon. We planted our first vines in the rich, red volcanic soil and then nurtured them through their formative years. After a few trials and a tribulation or two, the vines began to reach maturity and provided us with the grapes to make our first wines in 2003. The grapes are grown using organic methods and minimally handled in the cellar to capture the essence of the vineyard in our wine. Crews are hired as needed to help in the vineyard but we do everything else ourselves, from making the wine to bottling and labeling (and even some occasional grape picking).

Although our particular madness is Pinot Noir, we also make small lots of Chardonnay, Pinot Gris and Pinot Blanc to keep life ever more interesting. Future production will be kept intentionally small so that we can dedicate our time and attention to growing grapes, making wine and enjoying life rather than managing employees.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
