Our winery opened its doors in the summer of 1994, with an inventory of 1100 gallons in eight varieties. Our tiny tasting bar accommodated five people. Twelve years and six additions later the Winery at Wilcox, Your Winery in Pennsylvania, now has a capacity of nearly 60,000 gallons, with over 30 wines for the 2011 vintage. When we opened our doors in 1994. The Winery at Wilcox was the smallest of Pennsylvania’s 40 wineries. At present we are one of the states largest wineries and have become a leader in the Pennsylvania wine industry.

Under the ownership of Mike and Carol Williams we have built our reputation with a line of top quality products and unsurpassed customer service. Recently, with the addition of son Jamie into the business, our winery has truly become a family affair.

This amazing growth could not have been achieved without the outstanding local and regional support and we have received throughout the years. Without your patronage we could not continue to produce wines of the highest quality. Without the local work force we could not provide the excellent customer service you have come to expect from The Winery at Wilcox, Your Winery in Pennsylvania. Quite simply, without you, the community, The Winery at Wilcox would not and could not exist. That is why we at The Winery at Wilcox want you to think of “Our” winery as “Your” winery. And it is our solemn promise that we shall continue to strive for excellence in all facets of our business so that we can continue to be a source of pride for this great area.

Nestled in the mountains of the Allegheny National Forest we have become a destination for those who enjoy top quality wines as well as Pennsylvania’s natural beauty.

Situated in the Northwest corner of Elk County, in Jones Township, The Winery at Wilcox is just a short drive to some of the most picturesque scenery in North Central Pennsylvania. Close to the Allegheny National Forest, and the East Branch Dam, the setting is perfect for a small family winery. Whether it is dry or sweet, red or white, fruit or grape, fun or serious that tickles your fancy, we have something for you at The Winery at Wilcox, Your Winery in Pennsylvania. Please come join us and enjoy our ample list of national and international award winning wines in a comfortable and cozy atmosphere.

We are located two miles off Route 219, on Mefferts Run Road, between Wilcox and Johnsonburg. The Winery at Wilcox is open 7 days a week from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a feisty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
