Jerry and Pat Taylor, who have been married for fifty one years, are at the helm of our family. Jerry is the vineyard manager, taking care of the land from dawn till dusk - and sometimes beyond. Jerry had a day job until 1993, working on construction projects like the San Mateo Bridge and San Francisco’s Transamerica Building to finance his love for farming. Pat still works as a respected real estate agent in Napa Valley, helping other families achieve their dreams of owning their own vineyards. Scott, Mike and Sandy are the Taylor’s children. All are still active in the family’s vineyard and winemaking operations, as are some grandchildren.

Sandy was born and raised in Napa Valley. With an academic background in electronics, Sandy learned about the business of wine by working for a number of prestigious Napa wineries. Sandy is dedicated full time to Taylor Family Vineyards, and handles everything that needs to be managed besides the vineyard in order to make and sell the high quality wines for which the family is fast becoming known.

Phil Carlson is a Naval Academy graduate and commercial airline pilot. Phil began spending his time on the ground as an apprentice of Jerry, learning everything he could about grapegrowing, which became an unexpected but all consuming passion once it was introduced into his life.

Red, White & Drunk all over by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean writes about wine with a sensuous obsession... and often laugh-out-loud funny... Terrific.

Rex Pickett, Sideways

Ms. MacLean is the disarming Everywoman. She loves wine, loves drinking ... ultimately, it's a winning formula.

Unquenchable by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a feisty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
