Stevenot Winery, one of California’s premier boutique wineries, is located in the Sierra foothills in Calaveras County in the heart of California’s Gold Country, an area which has been a respected wine grape growing region since the mid 1800s.

Established in 1973, the winery is at the forefront of the renaissance of premium wine production in Calaveras County. From Chardonnay and Orange Muscat to Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah, Zinfandel, Merlot, and our newest red sensation – Tempranillo, each taste exemplifies Stevenot’s rich history, excellent foothill climate and impeccable vineyards.

Stevenot is proud to be part of a long and rich tradition of producing world-class wines in the Sierra foothills. We invite you to explore our web site, visit in person, and enjoy this tradition as Stevenot Winery moves into its third decade of producing Sierra Foothill wines of distinction live to Distributing, Inc. is the proud new owner of Stevenot Fine Wines and will operate the Stevenot Tasting Room on Murphys’ Main Street, as well as the Stevenot Wine Club. Jon and David Oliveto, owners of the well-respected and long-standing distribution company based out of Sutter Creek, have great plans.

Unquenchable by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a feisty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
