We approach making wine differently than most folks, believing it is possible to provide for a future for our twins while also respecting and looking after other people's kids, too. We're less Our Familyconcerned with short-term profits and much more interested in creating long-term sustainability for ourselves, for our family, and for others.

By investing time into grower relations and selecting distinctive vineyards, we keep high the quality-to-value ratio while respecting and depending upon the personal involvement of the people who care about what they grow, pick, bottle, or sell; we go hunting for overlooked varietals and vineyards, making wines we like to drink--and which we hope others will, too. Wine can and should be a part of all facets of our lives--it's just a matter of finding the right wines for the times.
A portion of the sale of all our wine has been donated to educational organizations to provide college scholarships for the students of the Napa Valley so that the children of wine workers may have choices their parents did not. We believe in doing what's right--for our family, for your family, and for the families of unseen workers who were instrumental in the creation of this wine. The Stein family thanks you for your contribution to an improved future for all of our children. When we drink this wine, we toast to a more equitable future for all.

Changing the wine business one person, one bottle, one glass at a time: wine made the right way... because fair is fair.

Unquenchable by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a feisty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
