When we first set eyes on this land we were immediately struck with a strong sense of potential. With vineyards of great diversity, from steep mountainsides to rich benchlands and gently rolling hills, the promise of Skipstone was undeniable. As great wine depends on great place, we knew we had discovered a hidden secret in the mountains above Alexander Valley. Armed with this knowledge we spared no effort in fulfilling this promise so that the site may speak for itself. We assembled a world-class team of people who share this belief and vision of Skipstone to find the great wines that inherently exist here. This spirit has been captured in our offerings. Whether it is in our terroir driven wines or our award wining olive oil, our estate products are expressions of a singular and unique place.
