Crafting and producing state-of-the art wines is the undisputed mission of Sjoeblom Winery. Founded in August 2000, the winery is located in Napa, California, one of the most prestigious and progressive wine-producing regions in the world. Sjoeblom Winery's philosophy of producing first class, quality wine, is based on old-world craftsmanship, time-honoured traditions and modern, scientific practices. Sjoeblom strives for a synthesis of classic European practices, experimentation, and up-to-the-minute winemaking science. Only the finest, handpicked Napa Valley grapes are selected each year. Each and every bottle of wine is nurtured by us through every step of the making of a fine wine. Sjoeblom is a boutique winery striving for excellence.

The company's premiere product, "Chauvignon", will be its first release in 2002. It is a high-quality, sparkling wine with a distinctive flavour. Although it created using the Méthode Champenoise (the traditional French method), it is not made from traditional Chardonnay and/or Pinot Noir grapes, but rather from 100% Cabernet Sauvignon grapes, making it uniquely individual. Chauvignon is the first sparkling wine of its kind.

Sjoeblom Winery is creating a new tradition in 2002, a new sparkling wine, unlike anything else in the world. We call it Chauvignon and it is made of 100% Cabernet Sauvignon grapes. Sparkling wines and Champagnes are traditionally made from Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and/or Pinot Meunier.

Unquenchable by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a feisty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
