Six Hands is a boutique family winery nestled in the Sacramento River Delta, where warm summer days and cool evening breezes create optimal conditions for grape cultivation. Knowing that our wines will be represented at special events, celebrations and ordinary Tuesday night dinners, motivates us to produce handcrafted wines of the highest caliber at value-oriented prices. Our personal relationships extend not only to our customers but also to our growers. We take pride in creating our wines from local growers who are dedicated to producing the finest grapes.

Our wines are produced in small lots of from local grapes which receive hand care through every step of their development. We believe that our job is to nurture the grapes through the winemaking process with as little intervention as possible, bringing the grape’s true character and natural subtleties to the forefront. The small size of the winery allows us to give complete attention to each and every batch of grapes we process, so we can be confident every bottle meets our highest standards.

The focus on quality wines goes hand in hand with Six Hands’ commitment to reasonable prices. Great wines should be available to consumers not only for life’s special celebrations, but also for quiet evenings with family and summer picnics with friens.

Today, Six Hands Winery produces ten varietals and one thousand cases per year. The wines can be purchased at a variety of California retailers, on this website, and enjoyed at numerous local restaurants, but the winery continues to stay true to its mission of direct sales to the public. Through the semi-annual open houses, the Marks family is pleased to welcome back loyal customers, meet new ones, receive feedback on their wines, and answer questions about the process and the product. It is this direct connection with customers that makes it all worthwhile.

Unquenchable by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a feisty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
