Seven Hawks Vineyards is located one mile north of Fountain City, Wisconsin, on steep bluff lands overlooking the Mississippi River Valley. Our vineyards include almost 18,000 northern hybrid grape vines and 500 plum and cherry trees, making us one of the largest vineyards in the upper Midwest.

Our tasting room and wine bar is located in Fountain City at 17 North Street (located just behind the Golden Frog), an 1870's renovated gem, one of many fine old buildings in historic Fountain City. We also arrange special events at our vineyard and tasting room, and vineyard tours.

All of our wines are made from 100% locally grown grapes and fruit. Please review our currently available wines. Samplings of any of these wines can be enjoyed at our Fountain City tasting room, or you can order these wines for shipping directly to you. For ordering information or any other information about Seven Hawks Vineyards, call 866-946-3741 or email [email protected].

How would you like to become a member of our Seven Hawks Vineyards Case Club? As a member, you'll receive exclusive invitations to our tasting room receptions with food and entertainment. You'll also receive special monthly discounts. How do you join our Case Club? Simple! Just ask to register when you purchase any twelve bottles of our wines.

Our vineyard grape varieties include Frontenac, St. Croix, Prairie Star, Briana, La Crescent, Frontenac Gris and Marquette, all of which are results of cross breeding of European grape varieties with local wild grapes, to create cold-hardy vines which survive northern climates and produce unique, distinctive wines

Red, White & Drunk all over by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean writes about wine with a sensuous obsession... and often laugh-out-loud funny... Terrific.

Rex Pickett, Sideways

Ms. MacLean is the disarming Everywoman. She loves wine, loves drinking ... ultimately, it's a winning formula.

Unquenchable by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a feisty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
