In the 102-year-old schoolhouse in Avila Valley is where you will find Salisbury Vineyards tasting room and Salisbury Fine Art Gallery. This historic structure is a symbol of our family history, as we have farmed in California since 1850*. Our 40 acres of luscious Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, Pinot Grigio, Syrah Noir, and newly planted AlbariƱo thrive in the maritime climate of Avila Valley. While our 35 acres of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Zinfandel rely on the warmer climate of Paso Robles, all acres farmed using sustainable techniques.

Salisbury Vineyards and our Salisbury family were recently awarded with membership in the California Agricultural Heritage Club's 100, 125, & 150 years of continuous agricultural operation and ownership of an original deed for the Sacramento Delta's Walnut Grove.
You are invited to join Club Avila and be a part of our 150-year family farming tradition in our 103-year old schoolhouse tasting room and fine art gallery. Special events, concerts, BBQ's and great discounts on our wine are just a few of the benefits of membership.

The majority of Salisbury's award winning wines are exclusive to the tasting room, so our guests love to have direct access to choices of varietals and quantity. We encourage our club members to bring visiting family and friends for complimentary tastings and enjoy free venues like our Schoolhouse Rock concert series or our acclaimed Fine Art shows. Club members get to make personalized choices between wines on their quarterly shipments without all of the schoolhouse rules!

Red, White & Drunk all over by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean writes about wine with a sensuous obsession... and often laugh-out-loud funny... Terrific.

Rex Pickett, Sideways

Ms. MacLean is the disarming Everywoman. She loves wine, loves drinking ... ultimately, it's a winning formula.

Unquenchable by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a feisty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
