RustRidge is located on 450 acres in Chiles Valley, a region known to produce exceptional Cabernet Sauvignon and Zinfandel grapes.

With a ranch style Bed & Breakfast on site, sweeping views of vineyards, pastures, playful foals and ancient oak trees, and a tasting room that's pleasing to the palate in all ways, RustRidge Ranch & Winery may be a little off the beaten track...but's it's definitely on the right track for wine adventurers.

Several of our wines recently received awards at the 2010 San Francisco Chronicle Wine Competition. The 2005 Reserve Zinfandel and the 2006 Zinfandel received Gold Medals. The 2007 Chardonnay and the 2005 Cabernet Savignon received Bronze Medals.

2006 Estate Chardonnay The 2006 Estate Chardonnay has received a 90 point review and was selected as Editor's Choice in the December 2009 edition of Wine Enthusiast magazine. Comments from the review: “…pineapple, pear and tropical fruit flavors are beginning to develop bottle complexities, giving the wine a spicy, nutty, minerally complexity.” Go to our secure website and order some now.
RustRidge wines appear in two movies and RustRidge Ranch and Winery will be featured on local PBS show, "California Heartland". A bottle of RustRidge 2004 Cabernet Sauvignon makes its acting debut on a restaurant table in the upcoming movie, "My Best Friend's Girl", starring Kate Hudson, Dane Cook and Alec Baldwin. A bottle of RustRidge 2000 Cabernet Sauvignon is held by Julie as she cooks in the movie, "Julie and Julia", starring Meryl Streep.

Unquenchable by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a feisty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
