Our Wine: The Archer
2006 Napa Valley Red Wine First Release for Ruby Kurant
This first release is now available and making its way through the Bay Area and Napa Valley marketplace. 345 cases made. You can now buy Ruby Kurant right here!

From my notes: Plush, lush, rich red. Ripe fig, blackberry pie, candied jasmine, warm hide & sugar cookies. Loves meat, secretrecipe rustic cheeses and fireside picnics."

I have been painting horses almost as long as I have been riding them. The painting of the Archer was created with six other sisters at a sultry little spot up valley in Napa during one long harvest. The grapes came in deep purple and sticky, and the horses kept running across my canvas. When it was all over, it only made sense to combine these passions in one rich, sensuous package. The Archer the wine was born. She's the decadent first blend from some of the curviest vines in the valley. The wine as well the art is an exploration of intensity and magic.

Unquenchable by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a feisty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
