The Rosati Cabernet Sauvignon wines trace their origins to one of California's most illustrious vineyards, Ridge Vineyards. In 1987, Ridge Vineyard’s co-founder, Dave Bennion, took cuttings from the premier vineyard at Jimsomare Ranch to the Rosati Ranch in Southern Mendocino County. There amongst 1,500 steep acres, he chose his favorite hilltop site, and planted ten acres of this extraordinary Cabernet Sauvignon stock.

Twenty years later this boutique and robust vineyard produces 1,000 cases annually. Over the last two decades, the vineyard has been carefully and artfully farmed and harvested to enhance the expression of this rugged site.

Rosati Wine enthusiasts describe the wine as a complex, dark and earthy flavor likened to blackberries, plums, and boysenberries. This is classic, California Cabernet at its best. Its upfront oak and spicy flavors are best paired with elegant, sophisticated and intense meals.
The Rosati Family believes in coming together often. We enjoy our many family celebrations that always feature Rosati Family Wines. Our Cabernet Sauvignon, regardless of the vintage are intense, robust and the centerpiece of each meal no matter the occasion. We hope that you will also delight in this nectar at your own gatherings.

Unquenchable by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a feisty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
