Daniel and Constance Davis opened Red Feather Winery and Vineyard over four years ago. The name Red Feather is derived from Daniel’s family heritage. R.E.D. are the initials of Daniel’s father, Robert Eugene Davis and the feather symbolizes both of their Native American heritage. Robert being 1/2 Native American and Daniel being 1/4. This makes Daniel and Constance’s three sons, who also help with the winery, 1/8. The name Red Feather and the logo have been part of the Davis family for over 30 years. Robert started a construction company when he moved to California, naming it Red Feather Construction and Daniel worked by his side. Daniel and his siblings also own Red Feather Property Management. The Davis family are proud of their heritage and the use of the name Red Feather, which has been passed on through the generations.

Constance Sparkling Wine 11%
Brute style, chardonnay grapes, with a pinch of sweetness. Drop a fruit in the flute and enjoy. Give our “White Cab-pagne” mix a try!
2005 Chardonnay (Livermore Valley) 14%
French style wine with a hint of honey and pear. In a light toasted French Oak barrel for 18 months then transferred into stainless steel for two more years.
2008 Estate Reserve White Cabernet Sauvignon (Red Feather Vineyard) 14%

This is not a Rose! Made entirely with Cabernet grapes, in the skins for only a few days and then in stainless steel for 3 months. It is not sweet and people are surprisingly pleased when they taste it. Dry, crisp and goes great with everything! This is the perfect wine to take to a dinner or party; both Red & White lovers enjoy it.

2007 Estate Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon (Red Feather Vineyard) 14.5%This is our pride and joy. All the grapes were grown in our vineyard. Full pepper body, aged in American Oak for 18 months; bold but subtle with style.

Unquenchable by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a feisty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
