Enjoy the bounty of this boutique, Midwest winery – tucked away in the rich farmlands of Kansas. NightHawk creates hand-produced, artisan wines served up within a charming and rustic setting. Visit our tasting room, linger under the arbor, enjoy a live music event, or bring a picnic and relax by a quiet pond among the native prairie grass.

Enjoy Free Wine Tastings within a serene and beautiful setting. NightHawk offers a range of locally-grown and produced artisan wines – from a delectable dessert to a full-bodied red. Join us for wine tastings every weekend from early spring thru late fall.

Experience a perfect day trip.
Combine an outing with other agritourism destinations such as our neighbors Sommerset and Middlecreek Wineries – part of Miami County's Somerset Wine Trail. Travel south of Paola and off the beaten path (and a bit of gravel) you'll find a little jewel called NightHawk Winery.

NightHawk is more than just wine.
"When we first winter camped on this property 20 years ago we wanted to create a destination for new and old friends. From building our own strawbale home with the help of neighbors and friends to the planting, harvesting, and bottling of wine – it's truly been a labor of love. We are currently adding a new tasting and production facility. Visit and discover for yourself why we fell in love with this land and share a glass of NightHawk wine."

Red, White & Drunk all over by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean writes about wine with a sensuous obsession... and often laugh-out-loud funny... Terrific.

Rex Pickett, Sideways

Ms. MacLean is the disarming Everywoman. She loves wine, loves drinking ... ultimately, it's a winning formula.

Unquenchable by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a feisty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
