The Martorana Family Vineyards has been growing grapes in the Dry Creek Valley for over 25 years and has produced some of the finest grapes for several well known wineries in the area. We farm over 55 acres in three different locations in Dry Creek and Alexander Valley. Part of our land is dissected by Wine Creek and is listed on the historical record as having been a Native American fishing village originally occupied by the Southern Pomo Indians.

At Martorana Family Vineyards we are committed to organic farming practices and produce 100% of our wines from organically grown grapes. We are currently in the process of becoming certified by the CCOF, California Certified Organic Farmers, the largest and most reputable organic certification agency in the country. All of our wines are crafted from our own grapes which have been grown without the use of pesticides or chemicals for the past five years. Our organically grown grapes consist of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Zinfandel and Chardonnay. Our adage has always been to practice sustainable farming methods and to preserve our soil for the next generation of winegrowers.

Our farming team consists of Clendenen Vineyard Management, Amigo “Bob” Cantisano of Organic Ag Advisors, and Gio Martorana, the winemaker. We have been a family owned and operated vineyard in the Dry Creek Valley since 1983.

Our winery, which we constructed in 2007, is located at 5956 West Dry Creek Road in Healdsburg, California. The building was designed with a Green Roof planted with sedums to eliminate the need for air conditioning thereby saving electricity and helping to reduce future global warming. We encourage you to come visit our hidden treasure and enjoy the beautiful countryside that we call Dry Creek Valley.

Unquenchable by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a feisty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
