Marietta Wine Cellars opened its door in 2000, and began selling our wine in 2001. Since then, we have operated as a family business. We have had the pleasure to meet new and interesting people every day and actively participate in the local community. We are located in the beautiful, historic town of Marietta, Ohio - a riverside city well worth visiting. There are many things to do to fill your itinerary here, our shop being just one of several attractions here in the Northwest Territory's first permanent settlement!

The year 2010 presented some unusual and difficult challenges for us, to say the least. The downtown arson fire which ravaged our shop and caused extensive damage to other businesses set us back. But with the support of our friends and the community, we were able to overcome adversity and rebuild the business at a new location, getting back to what we love doing - making wine. We were even able to expand the business by opening a lounge and hosting "Wine Down Time" every Friday evening with appetizers, desserts, and live music. We have also started serving lunch five days a week.

Although 2010 was marred by flames, it marked the ten-year anniversary of our business That said, this July 2011, we will celebrate ten years of making and selling wine! We began with only four wines, and have now expanded to offer twenty-seven varieties, not including the Limited Editions we have recently offered.
