So my daughter thinks I’m living my dream, but actually I’m living reality as a wine-maker now. Which, I admit, is a far reach from living as a Special Education teacher not so long ago. But a person needs to fill time and as a people we are diverse creatures, so becoming a wine-maker wasn’t so far from being a teacher after all. I mean, we can become anything. Even in a hurting economy opportunities abound letting dreams become reality.

When not being a world traveler (Germany, Mexico, El Salvador, Israel, Rome, Egypt, Turkey, etc.), you’ll see Connie in the winery tasting room alongside Leigh pouring samples, serving you, and making sure things are spotlessly clean. She enjoys walking, having chats with her coffee group, and keeping busy with church and women’s activities. As a retired teacher, she substitute teaches on occasion. But her passion is loving her children, their spouses, and her new granddaughter and, of course, there will likely be more traveling.
