Nestled in the heart of quaint Nevada City is Indian Springs Vineyards Tasting Room. This enchanting winery produces awarding winning wines and features a Tasting Room where guests can taste spectacular wines at no cost while shopping in the Wine Gift Shop filled with one-of-the- kind whimsical and practical wine gifts.
This landmark Nevada County winery began back in 1983 when Dennis W. Ball, Owner of Indian Springs Vineyards and Winery, started building his vineyards with uncompromising attention to details. Dennis' growing and vineyard management routines attracted lucrative contracts with several of Napa and Sonoma County's best wineries. This early success of the original Indian Springs Vineyards helped pave the way to reestablish Nevada County wine heritage as an integral part of California's wine industry.
Today, the winery has evolved into a "must see" stop, by all who visit Nevada County and is recognized by locals as a producer of spectacular events such as the Bella Nota Concert, a fund raiser for Nevada County's Hospitality House and elegant wine receptions for area artists. Indian Springs Vineyards offers other seasonal and special events for its Wine Club members and non-wine Club Members too, such as its romantic Valentine's Day Dinner, held at the historic Indian Springs Tasting Room, delightful holiday events, and monthly and daily special wine discount offerings.

Unquenchable by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a feisty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
