Geoff Gorsuch, a native of the Los Angeles suburbs, is a graduate of California State University at San Diego. Initially, his professional pursuits included the possibility of a career in flying and law enforcement.

In 1978 the Gorsuch family planted the Goosecross Estate vineyard. While deciding upon which career path to follow, Geoff moved to Napa to help his parents at the Goosecross Estate. One thing literally led to another and he found himself immersed in the wine business! To enhance his talent and natural winemaking ability, he has completed postgraduate work in Oenology and Viticulture at the University of California at Davis.

Geoff’s experience features total hands-on practices in successful vineyard and winery operations for the past 18 years. Geoff became Winemaker for Goosecross in 1990 and has earned an enviable track record of quality and consistency during that time. As the manager of the vineyard and all winery operations, it’s clear that his heart and soul are in the vineyard and in making ultra-premium Goosecross wines. Geoff is Winemaker, Vice President of Operations and a Director of the Company.

Red, White & Drunk all over by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean writes about wine with a sensuous obsession... and often laugh-out-loud funny... Terrific.

Rex Pickett, Sideways

Ms. MacLean is the disarming Everywoman. She loves wine, loves drinking ... ultimately, it's a winning formula.

Unquenchable by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a feisty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
