The Gabrielle Collection focuses on approachable, elegant hand-crafted Cabernet., artfully blended Each of the expressive wines in The Gabrielle Collection has a distinct flavor profile that showcases the refined elegance and depth that Cabernet offers.

The Gabrielle Distinction
The Art of Blending! The Gabrielle Collection wines use the art of blending to bring out the best in Cabernet.

The best wines in the world are blends. First growth Bordeaux wines blend Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Malbec and Petit Verdot; Classic Rhone wines are blends of Grenache, Syrah, Mourvedre. For 60 years after the Napoleonic Wars, the Syrah based Rhone wines of Hermitage were blended with Cabernet Sauvignons from Bordeaux to increase the quality and complexity of Bordeaux wines.

Gabrielle Collection takes an old world view of winemaking, embracing the concept of blending to create complex and balanced wines.

The vineyards for our wines
Gabrielle Wines are crafted from fruit grown in family-owned and sustainably-farmed premium Napa Valley vineyards for our Cabernet Sauvignons and from Lake County in Northern California for our Proprietary Red Blend. As a 19 year resident of Napa Valley, Gabrielle knows many growers well and has insight into their vineyard practices. Our winemaker is often allowed to hand select rows for harvest, in keeping with our handcrafted approach.

The signature style
Balance with the Yum factor! Our wines have a focus on the fifth sense, the umami or Yum factor, which translates into mouthfeel. This velvety textural quality gives additional pleasure to a sip of wine as it envelops the palette. Our winemaking practices of minimal intervention produces approachable wine with supple tannins and expressive fruit within an elegant and balanced structure. The wines are allowed to rest on their lees until bottling, producing a silky texture.

Wines produced
Cabernet Sauvignon is our passion and focus. All wines are artisanally produced in small lots, showcasing different blends that express the diverse character/personalities that Cabernet can show.
