So I buy grapes from one of the most meticulously farmed organic vineyards in the Willamette Valley. The grapes are hand picked and then bunch sorted to remove anything unwanted. Fermentation happens in temperature controlled stainless steel tanks, and the wine is then aged for over a year in French oak barrels.

I’ve spent the last eight years making wine at Lemelson Vineyards in Carlton, Oregon. In 2005, I was lucky enough to work the harvest in New Zealand as well. The folks there at Neudorf Vineyards in Nelson took very good care of me and I’ll always remember that place.
