Sean and Candice Bundy began making wine and mead when they were married in 1995 after their friends Joyce and Keith Langley gifted them with a homebrew set as a wedding gift.
Over the years, the Bundy's love of wine and mead and all things brewed grew and grew. They dreamed of a day when their brewing would become more than a hobby.
During the spring of 2008 Sean wrote a letter to the city of Centennial humbly asking for approval to start a home-based winery, and then the adventure started! The summer of 2008 was spent on home remodeling, paperwork for federal and state licensing, and securing contracts on grape purchases from the western slope. Also in 2008 both Sean and Candice were certified as Executive Wine Sommeliers by The International Wine Guild at their downtown Denver location (on the Auraria Campus). The International Wine Guild offers training to both industry professionals and wine enthusiasts. We cannot recommend them enough! If you're in the market for wine education, these are the people to go to.
All of the wines and meads produced at Dithyramb Winery are done in small, hand-crafted batches and receive oodles of personalized attention. The name Dithyramb is a hymn sung to Dionysos, the greek god of wine.

Unquenchable by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a feisty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
