As lifelong finance and capital industries providers with a passion for wine, we decided we wanted to produce something tangible that we could leave as a legacy to our daughter and family. We wanted to create something familial in which we could each have some input; from labels to branding, to creed and, of course, to a final product.

Our dream is to create a bottle of wine that is exceptional in all aspects; developing a creation that encompasses the essence of family. Ours is a labor of love; from the selection of clones, to the nurturing of the vine, our intention is to care for our plants from seedling to harvesting the fruit enabling us to make each decision throughout the winemaking process. Our one goal is to make the highest quality product possible in the quintessential, old world Burgundian style.

Founded in 2005, we made our first wine in 2006 with just 75 cases of Pinot Noir and 25 cases of Pinot Gris. In 2007 we increased to about 150 cases, and have fruit for a similar amount in 2008, with plans for expansion in 2009.

Our first dates were trips to the Willamette Valley for wine tastings and picnics. Often accompanied by our daughter, Isabella, the three of us learned the intricacies and subtleties of the wine making process. It was then that we decided to embark upon this familial endeavor.

Unquenchable by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a feisty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
