Deer Springs Winery is Lincoln’s award winning winery and is located in a quiet country setting just minutes away from the city. Since opening to the public in 2007, Deer Springs wines have won medals in both national and international wine competitions. We take pride in producing balanced, flavorful wines that are uniquely approachable and distinctively Nebraskan.

A family-owned and operated business, Deer Springs Winery sits on the homestead which was deeded to ancestor Patrick O’Halloran in 1874 by Ulysses S. Grant. The Tasting Room is in the original farmhouse that has been carefully renovated to reflect the charm and simplicity of the original structure. Surrounded by pine trees, the Winery continues to have the relaxed atmosphere of by-gone days, while providing the contemporary comfort of today.

We’d like to extend an invitation to you to visit Deer Springs Winery soon to sample our wide selection of fine wines and find your favorites. Enjoy locally made breads and cheeses, explore our Gift Shop for items for the occasional wine drinker as well as the wine connoisseur, and savor the Deer Springs experience!

Join us at Deer Springs Winery. Uniquely approachable; distinctively Nebraskan!

Red, White & Drunk all over by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean writes about wine with a sensuous obsession... and often laugh-out-loud funny... Terrific.

Rex Pickett, Sideways

Ms. MacLean is the disarming Everywoman. She loves wine, loves drinking ... ultimately, it's a winning formula.

Unquenchable by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a feisty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
