Cullari Vineyards and Winery is a small boutique bottler and producer that specializes in both traditional dry and sweet red, white and pink wines, and also some unusual and uniquely crafted grape and fruit wine varieties that are only available at our tasting rooms. The vast majority of our wines are produced in very small quantities, which allow us to be very creative and very precise. Of course, because of the small quantities, these often sell out quickly, so if you try it and like it, BUY IT! We currently sell over 25,000 bottles of wine a year, and our prices are among the lowest of any Pennsylvania winery. We are located in Hershey, Pennsylvania, in the beautiful rolling hills between Lancaster and Harrisburg. Our first vineyard was planted in the year 2000, and our second one, which was planted in 2007 has doubled our size. Our grape varieties include both vinifera type grapes such as Cabernet Sauvignon and Franc, Merlot, Chardonnay, and hybrid varieties such as Chambourcin, Chancellor and Vidal Blanc. We are also one of the few vineyards in Pennsylvania to grow Zinfandel (our single largest varietal), Sangiovese and Barbera. Cullari Vineyards and Winery is the first and only winery physically located in Hershey (Derry Township) and combines old world style with modern technology. Owner and wine maker Salvatore Cullari, who was born in Caroniti, Italy, first started making home made wine with his father when he was 12 years old. Cullari states: "A lot of my relatives in Italy had vineyards, or made wine for home consumption, or simply drank a lot of wine, so I guess I literally have wine in my blood!" Although our wine making techniques have been modified to make use of newer equipment and state of the art wine making knowledge, we still retain the same high standards of quality and would never sell a wine that we ourselves would not drink.

Unquenchable by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a feisty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
