Located in scenic and historic Ste. Genevieve County, Crown Valley Winery is an architectural masterpiece overlooking lush vineyards and panoramic views of the countryside. From the first time you see it, the dramatic beauty of Crown Valley Winery will capture your heart and imagination, just as surely as our impressive array of fine, hand-crafted wines will enchant your palate.

From the beginning, Joe Scott Sr. knew Coffman, Missouri was more than just a small town; it was something special. Having spent many summers as a child in Coffman on his grandfather's farm, the town has always held a special place in Joe's heart.

In 1984, he returned to the beauty of Ste. Genevieve County to establish a ranch of his own. Joe planted his first Chardonel grape in the grounds of Coffman in 1998. Watching the vines grow, he saw their beauty and allure firsthand, which motivated him to plant another field of grapes the following year. While the vines were maturing, Joe's thoughts on building a winery were growing too.

Cultivating the vast knowledge gained from visiting wineries around the world during the spring of 2000, Joe and his wife Loretta added their own personal touches and ultimately created CROWN VALLEY WINERY. Designed to show off this spectacular region and its lush surroundings that are so near and dear to Joe's heart, we are pleased to welcome you to CROWN VALLEY WINERY and the beautiful town of Coffman, Missouri.

Unquenchable by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a feisty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
