Another Tudal Family milestone for 2011 includes the opening of our second winery homestead “Cerruti Cellars” and Tasting Room in urban Jack London Square, Oakland. Named in tribute to our patriarch and 1st generation California Grower George “Baci” Cerruti, an Italian emigrant from Genoa who lived to the ripe age of 99 to witness so many of our memorable occasions. We were quite fortunate to create this home for Cerruti Cellars by acquiring and transforming this unique building that was built in the 1920's for cold storage by the Armour Food Company. This burgeoning Jack London Square location holds considerable significance to the Tudal Family as it is just around the corner from the century-old Produce Market in Oakland (still in operation) where grandfather “Baci”, father Arnold, and current owner John Tudal brought harvests for commercial sale dating back to 1932. Come for a visit and view our many growing and winemaking relics from the past along with our current award winning wines. Cerruti Cellars is also directly across the street from the soon-to-open Jack London Marketplace, which will house artisanal food and wine purveyors.

Red, White & Drunk all over by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean writes about wine with a sensuous obsession... and often laugh-out-loud funny... Terrific.

Rex Pickett, Sideways

Ms. MacLean is the disarming Everywoman. She loves wine, loves drinking ... ultimately, it's a winning formula.

Unquenchable by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a feisty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
