We warmly invite you to visit our Winery conveniently located midway between St. Paul and Rochester in the heart of historic downtown Cannon Falls. Our award-winning wines are handcrafted on-site mixing old traditions with new and combining local techniques with those from around the world. Opening each bottle of our wine offers a glimpse into a unique and time-perfected process. From the vine to the glass, we ensure that our product is the best wine Minnesota has to offer.

In 2004 we opened the doors of our beautifully renovated Winery, formerly home to Lee Chevrolet. The rich history, warm décor, and inviting ambiance are an excellent complement to our award-winning wines.

Enjoy a wine tasting or choose a glass of your favorite to sip while you relax in our beautiful Winery accented by century-old limestone walls.

In addition to our delectable wines, we offer a wide array of wine-themed gifts to decorate your home or serve as a memorable gift for a friend.

We have free WiFi in our tasting room so you can surf the web, check your email, or even blog about your Cannon River Winery experience while you enjoy a glass of wine in the inviting atmosphere of our Winery.

Whether you’re interested in an afternoon of wine tasting, hosting a special event, or simply stopping in to purchase your favorite bottle of wine, Cannon River Winery provides you with it all. We look forward to having you as our guest. See you soon!

Red, White & Drunk all over by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean writes about wine with a sensuous obsession... and often laugh-out-loud funny... Terrific.

Rex Pickett, Sideways

Ms. MacLean is the disarming Everywoman. She loves wine, loves drinking ... ultimately, it's a winning formula.

Unquenchable by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a feisty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
