Built in 1998, the winery is located in the heart of 223 acres of breath-taking vineyard and olive groves.

The winery's unique conception included building to accommodate a very gentle processing method able to handle small lots hand harvested to large lots machine harvested.

Moreover, without compromising our dedication to the old traditional and natural ways of making wine, we have been able to introduce the latest technological equipment available to the industry. All equipment used in the various stages of wine making is of the highest quality stainless steel, designed to ensure the maintenance of the most rigorous levels of cleanliness and hygiene.
The grapes and the resulting wines are handled with great care to preserve the grapes' individual character.

Indoor are 24 red fermenters of 7000 gal each. Equipped with pneumatic piston for maceration with punch down (follature), used to alternate with the traditional pumping over the cap and/or delestage. Click here to read about our winemaking practices
The aging process, critical to the production of fine wines, takes place in an age cellar. Here, a large number of storage tanks from 10,000 up to 20,000 gal are equipped with individual, self-contained temperature controls, providing the ideal environment to assist and enhance the wine to age as nature intended.

As soon as the wines have reached their top evolution, they enter the bottling and labeling line, which also conforms and adheres to the stringent quality and hygiene standards that are the hallmark of our entire operation.

A modern laboratory has been created to assist our winemaker. It is furnished not only with instruments to perform microbiological and chemical analysis but also with software to monitor the whole cellar. Twenty screens monitor and reproduce cellar tank disposition giving real time information on temperature and volume content in each tank, even during a racking!

It is by the harmonious combination of the latest technological equipment from around the world with the tried-and-true traditional wine-making methods and quality control that our winery is able to produce the large assortment of finest "Natural Character" quality wines.
