During one of many superb trips to the Napa Valley over a period of twenty-five years, Laura Bremer remarked, “I want to do whatever it takes to never leave this Valley.” Her comment prompted a search for the perfect winery. John, Laura and Austin Bremer searched for the land and buildings that would contribute to the production of wines suited to their palettes with a warm, inviting atmosphere where they could host friends who shared a passion for great wine, great food and wonderful company.

The property at Deer Creek – a beautiful location on the slopes of Howell Mountain with large oak trees, acres of vineyards, a creek, picnic tables and a stone winery built in 1891 – more than fit the dream. After teaming up with winemaker Bob Bolan, their first wine was released in October 2003. Lending much more than their names to the winery, the Bremers are actively involved in each stage of the creative process, and often personally host guests. Among the favorite of all their special releases is a spectacular Bordeaux blend they named after their son, Austin. The wine is called Austintatious.

Unquenchable by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a feisty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
