We are very fortunate to have neighbors who have also shown interest in growing premium red grapes. In the spring of 2000, Merlot & Petit Verdot were planted on the property adjacent to our estate vineyards. The grapes from these vineyards are under my care and management, making it easy to monitor crop size, quality and optimal time for harvest. Several other new vineyards have also recently been planted in our area. We look forward to Malbec, Dolcetto and Barbera , which will soon be coming into production.

Our goal in the coming years is to offer a selection of premium red varietals, including our signature blends, "Metaphor" and "Dichotomy".

Total winery production will be limited to 1500 cases per year due to space considerations and the desire for quality control. All wines are produced on - site. We take pride in the “fruits of our labor“ and have a passion for true hands-on winemaking.

Looking into the future, Boorman Vineyards is excited and challenged by an ever growing marketplace that is getting increasingly more difficult for the “little guy“ to find room . We intend to meet this challenge by producing elegant wines and remaining a small hand-crafted winery with attention to quality and detail. We believe the people of Southern California deserve nothing less than outstanding wine and we’re here to make sure that is exactly what they get!

Unquenchable by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a feisty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
