Vineyards: On site
Production: Smallest local Winery 100 cases

Hours of Operation: By appointment 415-454-0634

Bob and Kathy Glass with the help of family and friends planted a small vineyard in Sleepy Hollow in 2001. After careful research and consideration of the vineyard site, we decided to plant the vines a little over 4 feet apart to increase the vines competiveness. This combined with the weathered sand stone and steep southern exposed hillside, contribute to the richness of the fruit. This vineyard benefits from the hot long exposure of the day and the cooling from the marine influence during the night. We tend to the vineyard ourselves and friends and family help with the harvest. The crushing of the grapes, fermentation and processing of the wine is careful and slow to allow the natural character of the wine to come through. Our 2005 vintage was a mere 28 cases and the 2007 should produce some 70 cases. We will allow those who have purchased and enjoyed our efforts to reserve our wine for the next vintage.

Unquenchable by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a feisty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
