We are the Blue Mountain Cider families, proudly carrying on the agricultural traditions put in place decades ago by the Earl Brown family.

Those traditions include best practices for the environment and giving customers our fullest attention.

We brought all that to the table in 2003, when we began crafting artisan-style hard apple cider. Grown in the beautiful and generous Walla Walla Valley in the shadow of the Blue Mountains, our apples produce ciders that offer a refreshing alternative to beer and wine. We blend local fruit ourselves to maintain the highest quality and freshness in everything we produce.

We are proud of that.

The ciders — and you can choose from several varieties — perfectly complement a multitude of foods and occasions. Or no special occasion at all, just a longing for a simple pleasure.

From our small production plant, Blue Mountain Cidery has garnered several awards and industry accolades for our efforts. You can find our cidery news here, and you can find ordering and shipping information here.

You may also want to learn about our other venture, Watermill Winery, where we’ve employed the same good-for-the-earth farming practices to produce a number of palate-pleasing wines. Which, we don’t mind letting you know, have also have gained a great deal of recognition and favor with the critics.

Thank you for stopping by Blue Mountain Cidery. Be sure to come to our tasting room at 235 E. Broadway in Milton-Freewater, Oregon, right across the Washington/Oregon border from the city of Walla Walla. Visitors are expected — we’ve got a glass waiting for you.

Unquenchable by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a feisty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
