At Armonie Cellars, our goal is to craft small-batch artisanal wines that reflect our shared passions for wine. Wines of distinction that are not only true to their varietal, but which capture the distinctive characteristics and nuances that express the "terroir" from which they came. Silky, elegant pinot noir that expresses a purity of fruit in a seamless, balanced wine. Rich, bold cabernet sauvignon that offers a complexity and depth of flavor that can only come from this noble grape.

In order to achieve a perfect harmony in every bottle of wine we make, we maintain a constant focus on quality and attention to detail from the vineyard to the bottle. We are firm believers in the old adage that “great wines start in the vineyard,” and feel fortunate to source our fruit from exceptional vineyards that are cared for by winegrowers as passionate as us in their commitment to quality. The grapes are carefully harvested at optimum maturity, then handled gently and meticulously from fermentation to aging.

In the winery, we balance traditional winemaking methods with modern technology to guide the wine to reach its ultimate expression. Because we produce very small lot wines, each of our wines is truly handcrafted – from hand sorting individual grape clusters at harvest, to lot by lot fermentation decisions at crush, to the careful monitoring and countless decisions made as the wine progress in every barrel. We believe that this attention to detail is what allows us to craft wines that offer the wine rack aromatic, textural and flavor complexities we love in a harmoniously balanced wine.

In fact, we named our little wine project Armonie Cellars, to reflect the harmony that we seek -- in our lives, in our friendships, and in our wines. We hope you enjoy our wines as much as we enjoy making them, and that you will raise a glass of our wine with your friends and family in the same spirit of friendship and harmony from which they were made.

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a feisty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
